Dr. Acs received his MD and PhD degrees from the University Medical School of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary. He completed his residency in Anatomic Pathology and Fellowship in Surgical Pathology at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA.

He is an Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of south Florida, and a Member of the Faculty at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute with Department/Program Affiliations in Experimental Therapeutics,  Gynecologic Oncology, Anatomic Pathology, and Breast Diseases.  His clinical interests are in the diagnosis of benign and malignant diseases of the breast and female genital tract. His main areas of expertise are in the histopathological diagnosis of neoplasms of the breast and female genital tract and assessment of histologic, immunophenotypic and molecular prognostic and predictive factors.
